Edinburgh House 

Edinburgh House is our vibrant supported accommodation at the heart of YMCA North Staffordshire — a place where young people aged 16–25 can feel safe, valued, and ready to take their next steps. Each resident has their own modern, en-suite bedroom, giving you privacy and comfort while still being part of a buzzing, supportive community.

When you join Edinburgh House, you’re not just getting a room — you’re gaining a place to grow. Every young person takes part in an engaging induction programme built around real-life skills, purposeful daytime activities, physical well-being, training, education and volunteering opportunities. Our dedicated team is always on hand, creating a friendly environment where you can build confidence, learn new things, and shape your own future.

Grace Crescent

Grace Crescent is our independent living community designed for young people aged 16–25 who are ready for the next step toward living on their own. With a mix of modern one and two-bedroom apartments, it offers the perfect balance of independence and support — giving you your own space while still staying connected to the YMCA community.

Each apartment provides a comfortable, private home where you can learn, grow, and build the routines that set you up for the future. Residents at Grace Crescent continue to benefit from our supportive environment, taking part in purposeful daytime activities, life-skills development, training, education, and volunteering opportunities that help you thrive.

Hope Court

Hope Court is our most independent living community for young people aged 16–25 who are ready to take a confident step toward living on their own. With modern, self-contained apartments, Hope Court gives you the freedom, privacy, and responsibility of independent living — while still offering light-touch support when you need it.

Designed for young people who are nearly ready to fly solo, Hope Court provides a stable home where you can build your routines, manage your own space, and move at your own pace toward full independence. While you won’t have the same level of structured activity as our other sites, you’ll still have access to guidance, opportunities, and a supportive YMCA network if and when you choose to engage.

Community Housing

YMCA North Staffordshire is proud to offer high-quality, tastefully furnished community housing for young working people aged 18–30 across Stoke-on-Trent. Our properties are designed to feel like real homes — comfortable, modern, and welcoming — giving you the space and independence to live confidently while building your future.

Community Housing is ideal for young people who are in work and ready for a stable, affordable place to call their own. Each property provides a relaxed, independent living experience, with the added reassurance of being part of the wider YMCA community.
