YMCA’s Youth Matters Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of young people, staff, volunteers and projects across England and Wales that make a positive difference in the community.

In 2024, YMCA North Staffordshire teamed up with Staffordshire University and Keele University to hear directly from children and young people across the city. Our Youth Consultation Report captures the hopes, concerns, and ideas of 2,838 young people aged 10–24—shaping a bold vision for the future of Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire. This is their city, and this is their voice.
2023-2024 Annual Impact Report, detailing a year of significant achievements, community partnerships, and an inspiring vision for the future. This year’s report highlights the organisation’s ongoing commitment to empowering young people and strengthening the Stoke on Trent community, with a recorded footfall of over 100,000, a testament to YMCA’s reach and impact in North Staffordshire.
What is YES? – At YES, we’re dedicated to empowering Stoke-on-Trent’s young people (16-24) with opportunities to grow, thrive, and succeed. Together, we aim to guide them toward brighter futures – whether it’s through education, employment, or personal development.
