Our CEO of YMCA North Staffordshire, Daniel Flynn, was recently awarded the St Chad’s Medal at Litchfield Cathedral. Danny was nominated based on his exceptional and long-standing voluntary service and was invited to receive the prestigious honour from The Rt. Rev. Michael Ipgrave, Lord Bishop of Lichfield.
The St Chad’s Medal is awarded to individuals who have made a significant and lasting impact on churches and communities across the diocese annually. This makes this a remarkable recognition and one that is richly deserved by Danny.
A colleague who attended the event stated:
Watching Daniel Flynn be presented with the St Chad’s Medal was a proud moment for everyone who knows and works with him. His leadership and commitment make a real difference, and it was fantastic to see that recognised at Lichfield Cathedral.
Daniel’s leadership and passion for supporting others have been recognized by those who worked alongside him; now that the award has been presented to him it significantly highlights the depths of his contribution towards the community and the positive difference he continues to make.
The award serves as a highlight into Daniels true dedication as it not only celebrates his professional leadership but his ongoing voluntary service that has touched the lives of many across the region.
