Empower the family for change

In partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council, YMCA North Staffordshire is committed to strengthening the city’s voluntary and community sector. Our goal is to improve local resources for children, families, and young people.

We’re excited to announce our participation in a collaborative working group. Through this group, YMCA North Staffordshire will deliver a Tier 2 family support and coordination service specifically for Stoke-on-Trent’s Central Locality.

Your Dedicated Family Support:

  • Reaching Out: Our Family Coordinator will connect with you directly in your home or community, making support accessible.
  • Tailored Approach: Every family is unique. Your coordinator will adapt their methods to fit your specific needs and circumstances.
  • Empowering You: We aim to build your self-esteem, skills, relationships, and aspirations for a brighter future.
  • Local Knowledge: Your coordinator understands resources available in your area and can connect you with the right support systems.
  • Family-Led Plans: Together, you’ll create a personalized plan for your family, ensuring you have ownership over your goals.
  • Supportive and Respectful: Our coordinators are empathetic and maintain clear boundaries to build a trustworthy relationship.

Beyond Connections:

Your Family Coordinator doesn’t stop at connecting you with existing services. We actively work to:

  • Identify Gaps: If a needed service isn’t available, we’ll advocate with providers to bring it to your community.
  • Building a Stronger Community: We’re committed to strengthening local voluntary and community services, fostering connections that improve lives.

Together, we can create a brighter future for you and your family.
