YMCA North Staffordshire provides a relationship-building and mediation service for young people (14-25) to help build positive relationships with family and friends.
The focus is on working with young people to ensure they understand their housing options if they were to leave the family home and to work with the family on the causes of tensions to negotiate positive resolutions.
The aim is to enable the family relationship to stabilise so that the young person can move on in a planned way and the relationship with family members means that they have appropriate support to achieve this.
