Free Community Meal

Hosted by Street Chaplains

Friday 7 December will see the Street Chaplains host our 52nd Free Community Meal.

Community Meals take place on the first Friday of every month, bringing together different parts of the community to share food. This will be the second time the Street Chaplains have hosted a Community Meal, their first being all the way back in 2015.

The team – that will include Rev Steve Russell, Jim Halliday, Jean Edwards, and others are looking forward to cooking and hosting members of the community on behalf of YMCA North Staffordshire. Street Chaplains offer a vital service working in partnership with other local agencies to provide a non-statutory, uninformed, visible presence that offers reassurance, support and reduces the fear of crime within the city centre.

Before the Community Meal we would like to invite you to join us and Stoke-on-Trent City Council for an autumn community walk in Hanley Park. We will head off at 11am from YMCA North Staffordshire.

So, what is on the menu?
