Free Community Meal

Friday, November 2nd will see UNISON Retired Members Group host our 52nd Free Community Meal.

Community Meals are now a fixed event in our calendars. They take place on the first Friday of every month, bringing together different parts of the community to share food. This will be the second straight year that the UNISON Retired Members group will host the Community Meal.

The team – that will include Ann Harvey @annharvey22 – are looking forward to cooking up a storm in the kitchen with traditional home favourites on the menu. Ann says “we are a social group that loves giving back, we enjoy doing community meals at YMCA North Staffordshire, we become the grannies of YMCA for a day”.

Before the Community Meal we would like to invite you to join us and Stoke-on-Trent City Council for an autumn community walk in Hanley Park. We will head off at 11am from YMCA North Staffordshire.
